I am more excited than I have ever been about our upcoming events with Our Generation. Our Generation is a mobilization team I work with to create awareness and bridges for world evangelism. You can read bios on some of the men I work at at www.bcwe.org.

For the Sake of His Name will be the theme for all the Our Generation Events in our 2011 season. This is a theme that is very dear to the hearts of all us on the Our Generation Team. We believe as you hear stories from the past and present about young men and young ladies going “for the sake of His Name” you will be motivated to help those going in the future go for the same purpose. You can learn more about the story that inspired this theme by reading about the lives of John Leonard Dober and David Nitschman.

“There is too much to do to be bored!” That is my message to the teenagers for this Spring Break. We don’t want to them to sleep their spring break away – we want them to serve them away! Next week, during Spring Break, our church will be having a Children’s Crusade. I am so excited about how our teenagers will be able to be highly involved in this campaign.

We are calling our Spring Break campaign called “me no bored”. Poor grammar but a great plan. That is our response to people asking us if we are bored.. “me no bored”. There is too much to do to be bored!

The mission trips were “Practical experiences which helped to open my eyes to the need of those around the world and here in America.”

It was convicting “seeing all the people worshipping false gods; talking to the Nepalese family in Clarkston but not knowing enough of their language to share the Gospel with them; all the preaching and workshops.”

I enjoyed “being able to talk with missionaries & pastors about what God was doing in my life.”
