A merry heart maketh a cheerful countenance: 0

Jan27

A merry heart maketh a cheerful countenance: but by sorrow of the heart the spirit is broken. Proverbs 15:13

I often forget that my countenance is a reflection of my heart. I have been through periods of my life were I walked around grumbling and acting mad. I thought it was harmless and slightly comical to those I was around. My countenance is much more serious than I have treated it.

Many times I see teenagers without a cheeful countenance. In my silliness I try to make them smile. I must remember that there pain goes much deeper than their face. The heart is shown on their face and it is obvious they are hurting. May it be clear from my face that I have found joy and I am desirous to lead others to it!
